Bienvenidos! Welcome to my page! My journey has encompassed a wide array of interdisciplinary encounters, all of which have converged to bring me to this very moment. My educational pursuits have helped me establish correlations of the systems of power and generational trauma and oppression. It comes down to Land.
I am both a student and educator dedicated to the path toward liberation. My learning is rooted in the cosmologies of the land. Because violence to the land, is violence to our bodies. The theories I gather include decolonial and reflexivity, and I operationalize Indigenous Knowledges (Nahui Ollin) through multiple methods such as storytelling, ritual, plant work, and movement.
Similar to Laura Harjo (2019), I dream in Indigenous futurities, as my ancestors have always done in an effort to create an Indigenous replacement for the metaphorical table of power situated in the ivory tower.
The spaces I facilitate are in-personal and virtual. I invite collaborative, circular, self-determined learning spaces within the community and ask, "what did the ancestors hope for you?".

Educating ourselves in the history of colonialism and the systems created by it help us to decolonize minds, bodies, and spirits through which we can re-humanize ourselves and others who have experienced oppression and marginalization by the educational school system (Acosta, 2007).
Because violence to the land, is violence to our bodies.

Liberation is complex.
Decolonzing is necessary for liberation. Decolonization is not an event; it is a continuous, creative, violent process that replaces colonial systems, norms, ideas, and practices (Wolfe, 2006; Liboiron, 2022; Fanon, 1961; McClaren, 2003; Grande, 2004). Through my own practice, I have experienced the pain and joys of liberating praxis Which is why I am committed to create spaces of community to process the the pains and joys of liberatory praxis.
